About Me
Hello! I’m Debbie Hardin. Acupuncture changed my life when I was struggling with migraines, anxiety, and frequent illness. It continues to help me feel my best today. I love sharing this gift and helping people navigate their health and wellbeing challenges.
I received my masters degree in acupuncture from the Tai Sophia Institute (now called the Maryland University of Integrative Health) in 2008. I am nationally board-certified and licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania. I completed a two year postgraduate course in Chinese Herbal Medicine in 2018 and now love incorporating herbs into my practice as well!
I have been seeing patients in private practice for over 16 years. I’ve also done contract work with Magee Women’s Center for Fertility, taught a class on Chinese medicine at Chatham University, and participated in many community clinics throughout the region (and once in Greece!)
This is my life’s work. I’m highly committed to cultivating myself as a practitioner and am looking forward to practicing this medicine until I’m old and gray.
I’m also a writer in my bones and came to my acupuncture studies after receiving a degree in English from Johns Hopkins University.
My goal is to help you live your most meaningful life, with more wellness and more joy.
